Single-Source Authoring
Project Summary
For this project, our team was responsible for creating a proof-of-concept to demonstrate how single-source authoring would solve the Tech Company’s documentation challenges. The client’s goal was to be able to update content once across all products, make content searchable online, produce print versions, ensure consistency across content creators, and personalize outputs for different customers.
Our team used MadCap Flare to demonstrate how single-source authoring would meet these goals in a short timeline with potential for future contracts. We collaborated remotely to structure the content using Flare’s capabilities, implemented consistent formatting and organization, and generated both searchable web-based help and professional PDF outputs from the same source files.
We successfully delivered a proof-of-concept that demonstrated efficient content management and multi-format publishing.
